Fifth Annual
Festival of Trees

Share the Joy of the Holidays

Boyertown Area Multi-Service will host the

Fifth Annual Festival of Trees on Friday, December 2nd, 2011.

This event is a way for local businesses,
service clubs or individuals to help
local families who need support
during the holiday season.
Individuals may sponsor a tree
‘in honor of’ or ‘in memory of’ someone.

Each year, Boyertown Area Multi-Service provides gifts, wrapping paper and holiday meals to those who are simply unable to provide a traditional holiday experience for their children.

In 2010 the Festival of Trees………
Included 37 trees sponsored and decorated by businesses, organizations, and individuals. Please click this link for a listing of tree sponsors and the individuals who won the trees: Tree Listing.  Several of the trees were donated to families unable to provide a tree for their home.

Throughout the evening, visitors are given the opportunity to win the tree of their choice through the purchase of raffle tickets. The tree receiving the most raffle tickets, will be considered the winner and will receive #1 of the limited edition Santa ornament.  Please click here to see more about the Limited Edition Ornament Collection.   A press release announcing the winners will be placed in the three local newspapers (Pottstown Mercury, Reading Eagle, and Boyertown Times). This event is a great opportunity to showcase one's creativity and share the Joy of the Holidays with others.

All who participate in the “Festival of Trees” help in guaranteeing the continuation of Multi-Service’s life enriching Holiday Programs.

For a donation of $150, participants were supplied
with a pre-lit, artificial Tree that they decorated with ornaments of their choosing.

Theme trees are encouraged, but not mandatory and are great fun for the attendees.

Left: Health South Reading Rehab. decorated in celebration of their 50th Anniversary with a 50's Theme.

Lower Left: Bechtelsville Community Dev. Org. used a black tree and decorated in White Doves.

Lower Right: Dancing Tree Creations deocrated in Memory of the owner's mother.

The contributions through entry donations and the cost of decorations help to brighten the homes and hearts of others. 6 trees were donated to Multi-Service client families and several were given, by the winners, to members of their families who could not afford to purchase a tree this year.

Please consider participating in the “Festival of Trees” by decorating a Christmas tree for our Fifth Festival ,this coming holiday season. Please contact us at events@boyertownareamulti-service.org.  Early entry will also guarantee recognition of your participation in all literature relative to the Holiday Tour.
