Who We Are

Boyertown Area Multi-Service is a social service agency dedicated to meeting needs and improving the lives of people in the Boyertown School District Area and surrounding communities of Amity, District, Hereford, Pike and Oley townships.

We are an independent non-profit and member organization of the Boyertown Area United Way and the United Way of Berks County. We are also funded by the Berks County Office of Aging, Montgomery County Aging and Adult Services, as well as individual donors, and supported by the community of Boyertown and surrounding areas.

Our Mission

The mission of Boyertown Area Multi-Service, Inc. is to provide resources and services to meet unfulfilled human and community needs in the greater Boyertown area.

True to our motto, we are here to support this community, its people, and their health and financial needs.

What Services We Provide

  • Case Management for clients in the community focusing on the financial difficulties and challenges individuals and families face. Case Managers provide assistance through internal services, programs and activities as well as referrals to external resources.
  • The Energy Assistance Program helps match clients up with government programs that will make their electricity and heating expenses more manageable.
  • An average of 100 households are fed from the Preston's Pantry every month. Each client gets one-on-one attention from a case manager — they receive guidance and support along with their food order.
  • The Meals on Wheels program delivers a hot noon meal to over 100 homebound recipients; many choose to receive a cold evening meal as well.
  • The Richard J. Ricketts Center is a hub of athletic, educational, recreational, and wellness activities focusing on after-school programming for Pottstown youth. "Ricketts Center" is a program of Boyertown Area Multi-Service
  • The Center at Spring Street is a lively gathering place for those over 55 years of age. It is a wonderful place to socialize, take part in large variety of activities, and enjoy a noon meal.
