Food Donation Details

Do you want to organize a collection for our pantry or make an individual donation? That would be great! Here are some helpful facts to know:
  • Because the pantry at Multi-Service is open 5 days a week, food comes in and goes out at a remarkable rate, so our needs change regularly. If you're looking to make a donation, our Current Food Pantry Needs List is a great place to start. We welcome all donations, but the items on the list are what we need most right now!
  • We have a walk-in freezer and walk-in cooler, so we can accept products that need to be kept frozen or refrigerated.
  • We cannot accept medicines or home-canned items.
  • Donations delivered in stackable boxes are ideal, although they should be packed so that they can be lifted by 1 person alone, who may be over the age of 60.
  • Many people organize food drives that take place in November and December to coincide with the holidays. If you are interested in helping us keep our shelves stocked all year round, we have some themed collection ideas for you!

If you are going to organize a food drive, it would be useful to discuss the logistics with the Food Program Coordinator so he can best accommodate your scheduling needs and be ready for your donation. The pantry is open to deliveries Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. By request, deliveries may be made up until 4:30 if necessary.

Please contact the Food Panty Coordinator at 610-367-6957 with questions or to coordinate.
