A New Beginning...
Our Programs
Karate
The Ricketts Center offers FREE karate classes twice a week to all Ricketts Centers members of all ages. Classes are taught by certified instructors and come at no cost to participants. The only thing needed is a completed membership for the Ricketts Center. Those who take part have an opportunity to receive a uniform and advance in belts through consistent participation and testing.

7 Years old and up
I-Excel
I-Excel is the after-school program focused on academic advancement and assistance. Students will have access to additional academic support and individualized tutoring. this program is geared towards taking a more personalized and engaging approach to assisting students in their academic needs. Through this program, students can get assistance with schoolwork and also general additional support in math, science, and reading.

Mon – Thu 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Fitness Center
The fitness center is overseen by personal trainer Paul Winterbottom. the fitness center is open to all active members, of an appropriate age, free of charge.
Along with fitness center access, those who wish to can participate in Boot Camp, also run by Paul Winterbottom, twice a week, either indoor (winter months only) at the Ricketts Center, or outside at the Pottstown School District Stadium.

After School Recreation
The Ricketts Center is open to youth, ages 6 to 18, starting at 2:30 Monday through Friday. Youth are invited to come in for open recreation, homework assistance, and healthy socialization. Activities include, basketball, football, ping pong, pool, board games, video games, and more!

Summer Programming
Summer programming is an 8 week program that runs from 10 AM to 1 PM for a small group of registered youth. Youth engage in recreation, arts, STEM, trips, water fun, and educational activities. This program has limited slots so it is a first come, first serve enrollment that is set to begin in April. Program runs from the end of June to August. There are no fees or cost associated.
